Development of the Professional Doctorate assessment program for the Healthcare and Welfare domain

Period: 2022 – 2023
Client: Vereniging Hogescholen

Universities of applied sciences in the Netherlands will start their own doctoral program in 2022: the Professional Doctorate (PD). Candidates are trained to be highly qualified professionals who learn to intervene in professional practice when it comes to complex issues. The PD enables a continuous learning path from Bachelor via Master to Doctorate. The principles of Programmatic Assessment are used to monitor and appraise the development of participants. For the Care and Welfare domain, I contribute to the design and implementation of the assessment program and work together with other universities of applied sciences.
